Couples Counseling

Build a relationship that feels safe, connected, and true to both of you.

No relationship is perfect — but every couple deserves the chance to feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether you’re navigating recurring conflict, disconnection, or major life transitions, couples counseling can help you move from patterns of pain into deeper understanding and healing.

At Wildflowers In Bloom Counseling, couples therapy is a space where you both matter. Caitlin Bloom, LPCC, works with couples of all backgrounds — including LGBTQ+ couples, interracial couples, neurodiverse partnerships, and nontraditional relationships — to create space for growth, repair, and authenticity.

A Practical, Evidence-Based Approach to Deeper Connection

Caitlin uses a blend of therapeutic approaches to support couples through a range of challenges:

Gottman Method

Evidence-based tools to improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional and physical intimacy.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Explore the deeper parts of yourself and how each partner’s internal world affects the relationship dynamic.

Attachment-Based Therapy

Understand and heal attachment wounds so you can feel safer, more secure, and more connected in your relationship.

Common Reasons Couples Seek Therapy

  • Recurring arguments or communication breakdowns

  • Loss of trust or betrayal

  • Life transitions (parenthood, grief, career changes)

  • Cultural or gender role dynamics

  • Emotional disconnection or intimacy concerns

  • Navigating identity, trauma, or mental health together

  • Preparing for deeper commitments or new seasons (marriage, having children, etc.)

Whether you're dating, engaged, married, or have been together for decades, therapy is a place to slow down, get honest, and work toward something better — not just for the relationship, but for each of you as individuals, too.

Fighting for Equity in Relationships

Caitlin believes that healthy partnerships are rooted in equity, compassion, and truth. She brings a feminist lens to couples therapy, acknowledging the impact of societal roles, cultural messages, and trauma histories on your connection. Her goal is not to take sides, but to hold space for each of you to be heard, respected, and understood.
